A bone to pick...no not really—just reporters
After a long hiatus, I’m back. I know you really missed me -_-.
Ines Sainz and Jenn Sterger.
Both “reporters” are very beautiful individuals—and that’s the root of all the controversy in the sports world.
The New York Jets love blondes and Brett Favre loves brunettes.
Who doesn’t?
However, the footballers’ multitasking has seemed to get the best of them.

Getting the job done
Congratulations to Dallas Braden
Today the 26-year-old Oakland Athletics’ pitcher threw a perfect game—one of the hardest feats in all of baseball.
Even though Braden will be making headlines for the next several days, it was his last week’s altercation with New York Yankee’s third baseman Alex Rodriguez that grabbed everyone’s attention.
Rodriguez walked over the pitcher’s mound, as Braden was...

Great White Hope
In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, former Standford University running back Toby Gerhart discussed his draft status and making it in the NFL.
This wasn’t your typical run of the mill interview though. He was answering questions about being white.
Sound confused? Well, if you do, you are one of the few unbiased individuals left in this nation.
50 years ago, this nation and the...
Basketball prodigy →
Jaylin Fleming is a fifth-grader from Chicago. Like most boys his age, he enjoys playing basketball. There’s one slight difference between Fleming and the others, though: They aren’t considered the best 10-year-old basketball players in America.
Moral Responsibility, mishandled
In my most recent post, I addressed the bullies that committed the heinous crimes of killing of 15-year-old Phoebe Prince and 13-year-old Jon Carmichael.
My attacks on the teenagers that killed these children are worthy and understandable. However, like I alluded to towards the end of the blog, it’s not the bullies’ entire fault.
I blame their peers that sat around and didn’t feel the urge...
What a big wo(man) you are, bully?
Nine students were charged with statutory rape, assault, violation of civil rights resulting in injury, criminal harassment, disturbance of a school assembly and stalking of 15-year-old Phoebe Prince.
Here are names of six of the nine charged:
Sean Mulveyhill, 17; Kayla Narey, 17; Austin Renaud, 18; Ashley Longe, 16; Flannery Mullins, 16; Sharon Chanon Velazquez, 16.
It’s a DAMN SHAME that...
Flip Flopper
On June 20, 2008, then presidential candidate Barack Obama said he was NOT going to lift the ban on oil.
Months later he basically said, “well maybe, not really. Oh wait, let’s wait and see.”
Just days ago, Obama said he was going to lift the ban on oil drilling…kinda.
According to the administration, the east coast, parts of the Gulf of Mexico and some sections of Alaska are new proposed...

The dumb getting dumber
In a recent episode of the Rachel Maddow show, the MSNBC show host talked about the health reform coming together in not only record time, but the aftermath or “below the surface.”
She talked extensively about the “intimination” tactics by the right wingers. What disturbs me is how low these mongrels are falling too.
Throwing bricks into democratic representatives offices...
Do you wanna live forever?
In a recent article from Bryan Nelson, Mother Nature Network, the hydrozoan jellyfish can live forever. This is by manipulating their cells—reversing its age process.
According to Nelson, the only known animal to do so.
The jellyfish is populating around the world. In the report, Dr. Maria Miglietta of the Smithsonian Tropical Marine Institute said, “We are looking at a worldwide silent...
Whoa there, Tiger!
In recent developments, good ole’ Eldrick has made a stated that he will be returning to the Master’s at Augusta National in early April.
Awesome…I guess.
Before any and everyone gets on the band wagon on El Tigre kicking ass—Colin Cowherd—chill out.
Remember last year, it took him several weeks to get in a decent groove, with the exception of the Arnold Palmer event.

Oh no! It's socialism
For the record, I am a moderate. I think both sides (red and blue) are deranged.
Socialism - a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.
Socialism – according to the Marxist theory, the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society...

As the golf world turns
Houston we have a problem!
There were more people watching the NBA All-Star weekend event, H.O.R.S.E., than they were the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
When Tom Brady’s spectacular skills of an athlete (via golf swing to pass to caddie), makes the highlight for Sportscenter as top plays, the PGA is in trouble.
Tiger, after all, has had the last laugh.
The number one player in the world went from being...
Am I a black man?
This is a question everyone wants to answer for me. But the funny part is—they are not in anyway able to make that decision.
I mean how weird is that? Well, not weird at all, actually.
It’s only human nature for people to decide what you are and how you should go about your business.
Just worry about yourself and you will be just fine.
See, society tells me because of the color of my skin and...
The Cure for Predujice
egolan: Awesome piece broMontana
It occurs to me that the issue of prejudice is not improving in this country.
Regardless of endless discussion and countless amounts of legislature designed to help curb the spreading of this plague, we still have a problem.
Nobody has hinted that the issue may not be entirely free of the minority groups that get victimized.
African-Americans, Latin-Americans,...
Confidence
The definition of cocky is, arrogant; pertly self-assertive; conceited.
Used in a sentence:
Andre Fuller walked into the room with a cockiness that turned off everyone in the establishment.
Women say they don’t like it.
Men hardly realize they have it.
An individual told me recently that my cockiness used to be cute.
Apparently, that mindset has changed. Not just with that particular...

Allowing homosexuals into the United States military is long over due.
In his State of the Union address last week, President Barack Obama stated that he wanted to change the militaries rules and procedures for letting homosexuals in the military.
“This year, I will work with Congress and our military to finally repeal the law that denies gay Americans the right to serve the country they...
