For the record, I am a moderate. I think both sides (red and blue) are deranged.
Socialism - a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.
Socialism – according to the Marxist theory, the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.
For all of the people that can’t understand this, it basically says that socialism is a term for the command and control of valuable property and it’s resources by the state (aka government).
For all the “tea baggers,” Sarah Palin fans or Obama haters, mostly everything that exists and operates in 2010, has socialistic values to it.
Your mail and the military are some of the biggest examples of organizations that are controlled by socialistic values. Don’t hear you complaining about that.
News flash, some of you people got your jobs because of some of the “government controlling” ideas.
More people die from lack of health care per year than soldiers in the Middle East. Those people are dying because no one wants to give the little kid a new heart because he’s not covered.
Oh wait—John Q. was supposed to be a fictional story. My bad.
If that’s really fiction and people don’t take that serious, 2012 can’t come fast enough.
Thousands of people will die this year because of some law saying, “If you can’t afford, then we can’t help you.”
Yeah, that’s the American dream I have been thinking want.
I am never in favor of the government controlling things. But, the lack of government in healthcare has ruined a lot of people’s lives already.
That’s what makes me an in-betweener. I hate the people running the country and their pettiness, but hey, this time, we actually need’em.
So before you claim Obama as a socialist, realize every president, EVERY PRESIDENT has been guilty of this “crime”.
What a great country we live in huh? Our founding fathers and the “great” men after them have lied to the American people.
Why?
