In a recent episode of the Rachel Maddow show, the MSNBC show host talked about the health reform coming together in not only record time, but the aftermath or “below the surface.”
She talked extensively about the “intimination” tactics by the right wingers. What disturbs me is how low these mongrels are falling too.
Throwing bricks into democratic representatives offices to send a message is not the proper was to go about doing things. Several notes have been found on the bricks discussing their displeasure.
There’s nothing like saying, “We are smarter than you and your bill sucks—oh wait a minute, let me be an adult and throw bricks into your offices.”
According Maddow, Congresswoman Louise Slaughter has been sent several threatening messages from vigilantes that disagreed with her “yes” vote.
Then there’s Mike Vanderboegh.
A former leader of the Alabama Constitutional Militia, Mr. Vanderboegh has taken full responsibility of the brick throwing incidents.
Wanting the credit for such heinous acts, Vanderboegh has clearly lost his mind.
It gets worse.
Mr. Vanderboegh’s call for action doesn’t stop with meaningless rants on radio and/or television shows. He is now taking it to the internet, specifically blogs.
“We can break their windows,” said Vanderboegh. “Before we have to resort to rifles to resist their ‘well intentioned’ tyranny. These window are not far away from where you are reading this right now. In virtually every city and country in this land, there is a local headquarters of Pelosi’s party—-the Democrat party.”
The fun doesn’t stop there. This is where the fun really begins.
“These headquarters invariably have windows,” said Vanderboegh. “So if you wish to send a message that Pelosi and her party cannot fail to hear, break their windows. Break them NOW. Break them and run to break again. Break them under cover of night. Break them in broad daylight. Break them and await arrest in willful, principled civil disobedience. Break them with rocks. Break them with slingshots. Break them with baseball bats. But break them.”
There was more rambling, nonetheless, you see my point. Deranged individuals like Vanderboegh and his newly found brick throwing recruits need to be stopped before they hurt others—if not worse—themselves.
The ironic part about Vanderboegh’s situation is that, while he is obviously anti-big government, he is still accepting Social Security Disability checks from the people he hates most.
Mhm. A head scratcher indeed
Just when you thought the whole thing was going to come to an end, guess who decides to make matters worse?
If you guessed the newest reality television star (per the Discovery Channel), Sarah Palin, you were correct.
Sarah Palin has decided to take Vanderboegh’s side. A recent edition to the “Restore the Constitution” open-carry rally on April 19, 2010 in Fort Hunt National Park, Va., Palin is going to speak at the gun rally.
Vanderboegh will also be at the event.
The point is, while I have given you VERY ACCURATE information, I want you, the reader, to form your own opinion on the health care reform bill and the crazy people trying to stop it.
Who needs Nostradamus’s 2012 when we have people like the reality television star and crazy old man.
